About Me

Art is my passion. It was totally surprising to discover my talent about years ago. I had never had any art classes, but I thought I would try something new. Art has definitely offered me a creative outlet. I feel at peace when I am creating, using all different mediums.

I was born and raised, as the youngest of seven, on a family farm in mid-Missouri. I spent most of my career working for a utility company in various roles. I retired as a senior project manager for Kansas City Power and Light. My family consists of my wife of 50 years, Charlotte, and three grown children. Our son and two daughters have blessed us with five grandchildren.

Art has the ability to start conversation and bring people together. My hope is that my pieces can do that.
